Beth Jacob Congregation Can Do!
As we approach the New Year of 5772, most of us can look back and feel thankful for our many blessings. Often, we take the blessing of bountiful food for granted. Now, more than ever, there are those in our community who do not eat three meals a day, and they need our help.
Please bring canned or boxed foods to our synagogue through and place them in the food barrel near the side entrance to the sanctuary. The donated foods will be distributed to our Jewish Federation Food Pantry and to St. Vincent's Hotel. Their supplies are low, and we would appreciate your involvement in this important project. Please show that Beth Jacob members CAN DO everything in their power to help those less fortunate during our New Year holiday.
The Dayton Jewish Federation Food Pantry is in need of the following items:
Juice, Cereal, Peanut Butter, Pasta, Rice, Dry or Canned Beans, Soup, Tomato Sauce, Canned Fruit or Vegetables, Mac & Cheese. Please drop your food donations in the cart or barrel at Beth Jacob near the Jacobs Chapel.

Israeli Dance Class
Did you know that there is regular, ongoing Israeli dancing in this community? I don't think most people do.
Janifer is a terrific, very dedicated teacher who will work with whoever is willing to try, including beginners (she has taught several & integrated them well into the group). Class is held at the CJCE, on Wednesday evenings for only $3 per class. Classes are small, very friendly, and UNintimidating (we were all klutzes at some point).
